Background Investigation facilitates security
clearance for a person
Background Investigation or background check is done
to check for the criminal, commercial, employment
and financial records. It is used to completely investigate
potential government employees for security clearance.
These background checks are used by employers in recent
times to evaluate a job candidate's qualifications,
character and fitness suited for the job offered.
Identity check is also done to check whether the applicant
is who he or she claims to be.
Identity and address verification includes verification
of present and previous addresses of the person for
whom the check is implied. A background check is done
with a county, state or nationwide criminal report,
nanny background check, tenant screen, eviction records,
credit report, motor vehicle records, sex offender
search, past address history, or social security verification
search.
Criminal check is done to investigate the person's
past criminal records, generally used by potential
employers, lenders etc. to assess his or her trustworthiness.
Business Background Check is done to check the business
partners, customers or vendors for a certain business.
It includes a history of small claims, bankruptcies,
judgments for against them, tax liens, real property
ownership and value for sole proprietor owners, the
company's address history for a decade, etc.
